I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Information Technology at York University. I received my Ph.D in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University under the supervision of Prof. Jian Pei. Additionally, I have extensive industry experience, including work with leading companies such as Amazon.

I am currently recruiting multiple Ph.D. students to join my team starting in Fall 2025. Students with a strong background and keen interest in data science, databases, data engineering, and machine learning are warmly encouraged to apply. I am particularly looking for Ph.D. students passionate about the following research areas:

  • Data markets and their applications
  • Data valuation in machine learning
  • Interpretation of data valuation methods
